JB Hi-Fi engaged Amphis Commercial to reimagine the lighting in two flagship Melbourne stores—Melbourne Central and The Glen. The goal was to create versatile, energy-efficient lighting solutions that could adapt to the ever-evolving demands of retail. Our bespoke lighting plans balance consistency with the unique demands of each store, ensuring a tailored approach that delivers superior outcomes.

  • Track Lighting Flexibility: Track lighting was a key feature, allowing for adjustable illumination that can evolve with the store layout. This versatile electrical fitout allows for many outcomes, ensuring long-term adaptability
  • Branded Zones with Colour: Coloured LED strip lighting was used to define branded areas within the stores. These strips are simple to adjust for future projects, and pre-selected colours can streamline future installations.
  • Energy Efficiency and Brightness: Initial designs targeted 800 lux, but our products' exceptional efficiency allowed us to achieve an average of 1,000 lux while remaining well below the energy limits specified by Australian Standards.
  • Enhanced Focus Areas: A combination of T-Line linear track lighting and spotlights highlight key product zones, creating an engaging and dynamic retail environment.
